I've had this for 14 years, bought from a friend who'd had it in a barn for 10 years. The car is a 72 MG Midget stripped of all weather gear, but with aeroscreens and roll hoop added. The engine is 1.3 litres, turbocharged and charge cooled, with Megajolt ignition and NOS.It runs about 200 bhp at 6000 rpm w/out the Nitrous.I broke the original box and axle,(no surprise)so fitted a SCCR type 9 and hybrid english/atlas axle. This sits on leaf springs plus panhard rod and my copy of Cal-trac traction bars. It's a lot of fun on the road, but really built for the strip, and I'm still learning how to get the best out of it. I call it the gasser midget, but it's not really a gasser, just modelled on the West Coast modified sports cars of the sixties. Attachments:

Thanks for the insight, does the carb perform ok with the mods? and how do you get it to chuck the extra fuel in when ya press the gas button?
I do like little engines with big BHP figures.... ;D

Yes,the carb is the standard Metro turbo carb, but with a modified needle. On full throttle it runs around 11:1 AFR so a bit rich. There is a high pressure fuel pump in the back, which supplies a boost controlled fuel regulator,so I tap off before this to put the extra fuel in for the NOS with a second solenoid. You can see it on the right of the engine bay.
