For what it's worth, i think the van looks real classy and some banded steels with chrome trims would look ace.

Agree , if you can't find some real lotus wheels re-create them, the only way.

Already got some slot mags - and have you seen the price of Lotus steels Thanks for all the suspension info, chaps. Looks like adjustables, slightly inclined inwards, possibly with a panhard rod.

Hi Guys, You might find this site of some use. www.105speed.com/default.asp?id=1Neil is helpful and has been doing these for a long time now and he has done most of the trial and error stuff so he should be able to give you a short cut as to the best set up's. He does various odd ball stuff for them aswell, like heated screens, 5-speed bell housings etc. Jon Gumble one of the Smoke City lot (goes on most forums as "Crumble") had some Lotus steels for sale a while back, i can phone and ask if it is any help. Cheers. Russ.

Took seats and carpets out of van and found a petrol receipt under the drivers rubber mat, dated 15th September 2002, 73.9 pence per litre - nearly doubled in just short of 10 years - B***ards !

Slot Mags? it's not a beach buggy Jon!! it would be lotus steels with hubcaps, home made or otherwise, all the way for me. I thought I saw new repro lotus steels in a ford mag not long ago. Here is another thought if you absolutely need 'loys: Those lovely new repro 60's Dunlop alloys would look very chic and in keeping too...
