I'll give you a bit, i warn you though, it's been all bikes up til two years ago when i passed my test..
Dad was a biker, had a real nasty smash just before i was born which pretty much wrote him off,, i was always into all my Dads mates for rides on the back of their Triumphs and Beezers etc,, my Mum hated it, always putting the kybosch on it, but it was in my blood,, any way, Dad got into custom cars, we had a pink primered 100e that was jacked up to death with a Lotus Cortina engine and box in it, Dad lined the inside with foxfur, but he'd got the furs off his poaching mates and the car stunk horrible,, then he went through chopping up stuff like early Victors, and mainly 50's Brit stuff, i used to love going to the cruises down in Leeds as a kid, seeing all the Yank stuff doing burnouts and the quarter racing outside Hindle valves used to blow me away.
Anyway, by the time i was in my teens, i was racing moto-cross, [a href=""][/a] this is probably around the time i started breaking bones (my own ;D)
[a href=""][/a]
Had a few trail bikes, but when i was old enough, i got into some quicker stuff, also got heavily into chopping bikes about
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
[a href=""][/a]
Built my dear old Dad a couple of trikes
[a href=""][/a]
Got the daftest most dangerous bike i ever owned. It would come out of bends on the back wheel with the handle bars crossed up, with smoke streaming from the back tyre (in fourth gear) [a href=""][/a]
Had me an old Norton that would do 130 (on private roads ; ) and it used to backfire through the inlet valves and spit the carbs off in a ball of flame [a href=""][/a]
This little 500/4 was my favourite build, i did 1000's of miles on it [a href=""][/a]
I have, over the years, had 100's of bikes, some fun, some run of the mill crap..
I did my leg in when i was twenty five on a bike, still had loads of bikes, but when my leg got real crap i started thinking about the days as akid, and all the rods i'd seen with Mum and Dad, and thought i might like something a bit different..
I told Bev i wanted a yank car before i turned forty, she said "well you'd best get a license then" I did, passed my test (been driving 23 years beforehand), and got my first car,,
88 Trans-am [a href=""][/a]
It was fun, especially having a 5.7 V8 as my first legal car...
Sadly, i did want to race everything in it, so i thought Bigger, slower is the way to go,, hence the Olds,, i loved this car, but it was a bit hard to run on the sick with the 7litre big block
[a href=""][/a]
Oh yeah, forgot about the Dodge inbetween [a href=""][/a]....
Then came the Plymouth
[a href=""][/a]
AND IT'S FRYING MY FRIGGIN BRAIN
