Here's mine ;D Well have been into cars for as long as I remember Corgi and Dinky cars were bought every week with my pocket money as a small lad at home, hotwheels were another collection I had and still have up in the loft which date from the mid-sixties, those hotwheel machines really got my imagination going. Being the son of a very talented engineer and car and motorcycle racer I spent a lot of time around engines, cars and bikes as a youth helping my Dad build his racing projects. At the age of 15 I was lucky enough to get a Saturday job at the local 'Blue Star' garage. It was arund this time I started take a more serious interest in cars, buying my first one, a Moggy Minor for £40 dispite been unable to drive. That got the usual treatment of the time a fur interior and wide wheels, just like the cars in the Custom Car Mag, not! JUST WANTED TO POST MORE TO ADD HERE AND MORE EDITING TO BE DONE Started looking though some old pics in the loft and on other sites, amazingly I found a couple of pics of my 107e and my 100e. The 107e I found on Uk Hot Rods!! Pictured here at Portsmouth, Anne and were on holiday and we came across a custom show I think it was 1978 just before we tied the knot. Parked under a tree in the car park hinding the damage to the front lower quarter. The picture shows the paint alot better than it was, it was ten different colours of green but looked ok when it was wet, shaved doors, front grill made from 1/2" chromed plumbing pipe, running a BDA twin cam, (wish I had the motor now) Mk1 Escort suspension, and classy wooden tunnel were the exhuast fumes came in. Paid £25 for it from an old garage/breakers yard at Branton near Finningley spotted it the way back from a Sat morning trip to Kenny Birchill place at Hatfield. It ended its life a few months later when I stuffed it into a limestone post at the bottom Melton Road near Sprotboro bends in Doncaster (the post is still there laying at 45 degrees), broke it and built my 100e pictures to follow.

ITS ALL JONO'S FAULT!!!!! I started off, my first car was a 1971 1300 XL Mk1 Capri (and that's only a few years ago... not like when you guys had them as daily drivers ) Day i brought her home (via every serveices up the M1 to top the rad up!) (see puddle under front!) my capri and my best mate, ryan's cortina best pic of it I eventually bought the Mustang for the engine to drop in the capri, but we decided to keep the mustang, the capri was fully stripped down at that point and sold it for peanuts!! my next toy was a Mk2 1600 Escort, didnt keep it long, never really liked it then i thought id try and classic for a daily driver, wast really reliable enough but this is the only car that i actually miss!! Mk5 Cortina estate, beige with a brown vinyl roof, SO old man, but the 2.0L was nippy! and then right up to date with the current project ryan at this point felt left behind in the cortina, so got himself a mustang aswell lol (soon to be out in blinding orange instead of piss yellow)

Yay...since i can now put up piks i'm goin to flood the place haha I started circuit racing about 13yrs ago...Mazda RX2s and RX3s were the flavour as it was cheap H.P When the family came along the car was sold and we got a 1928 Essex 2 door...I made a chassis and fitted a 3.5ltr toyota Hemi V8 and 6v-71 rootes type blower..That was sold to purchase a 1967 R.S camaro (below) the original 327/2spd was replaced by a 454/400 combo...cool car but riddled with issues so it was sold of and replace with a 1967 Galaxie fast back...This car was a 2 owner original 90,00 mile car...it hadn't been modified in any way from when it left the Factory...sold recently to fund my next car (41 willys coupe) and finish the cooks 28 dodge .....
