I've been doing a bobber over the last couple of weeks thought I'd post some pictures of the tank and mudguard it might be finished for the weekend if the stuff I'm waiting for turns up. fresh out of the oven or shed in this case hoping it looks more bobber than clown bike. will post more pictures when its back together.

don't look too bad to say i painted it in the shed and could'nt see chuff all not 100% happy but i never am. yep its a viargo i know what your mastermind subject is, never had the chance to paint flake but can't see why i could'nt with a bit of reserch. heres a picture of it before i striped it down for paint.

Have you painted the frame yet? If not, d'ya fancy hardtailing it? I'm only in Woodlesford and we could do it in a day...

all ready painted the frame. I've replaced the shockers with bar to make it a hard tail i'd see a couple do it like this is that ok?, its the first bike i've had a go at so I'm making it up as i go along.

The general idea of a rigid, is to do away with ugly steelwork around the back wheel, if you're running struts, may as well run shocks..
Hardtail's aint no fun,, there's an old saying in the custom bike world "you sacrifice comfort for style" You might wanna run the back tyre with about 10psi, i've had hardtails for over twenty years, soft tyres help (not much though)

you'll have to tell me how to do it properly next time. Ive had bikes with ceased shocks in the past so i have a slight idea our roads aren't meant for it can't wait for numb arse and swollen testicles ;D
