Last year I fitted a Tube K member and coilovers along with Strange 10 way shocks/struts to help my 60ft and stop it jumping up too aggressively with the 90/10s as it was now hooking up.
All seems good and only had 2 meetings 10 passes and managed to net 2 1.40 60fts albeit I fooked those runs up
This year I replaced my 3" x pipe race bullets and supertrapps as the caps were choking it to death. Mate fitted a custom stainless system Dynomax cutouts with turn downs at the axle for easy uncorking at the track. Also gave me opportunity to fit a FAST wideband to datalog my a/f.
Yet to try anything out as have now pulled the engine. Was overdue a refresh but lost a dog bone or 2 driving home and killed the cam
Non plussed as was going custom anyways.
Block was already 0-ringed, main studed with girdle. had it bored 0.040 as it had a scratch in 1 cylinder, then used Moroso block filler up to the bottom of the freeze plugs.
Heads were skimmed, valve job,few guides etc; I cc'd chambers inlet/ex runners after days of porting.
Now your all up to speed I decided to go to a stronger block with the added power and more spray and that has morphed into whole rotating ass. & new heads to feed it. As you all know changing one thing leads to another so also need new headers
May well use most of my old engine parts in a project with my mate or build it up to sell. Shame as it was a decent motor.
Ordered these from TEA along with upgraded Pac springs.
decent exhaust ports for a sbf.
Will then have to shoehorn in my Hooker supercomps (hammertime) 2" primary 3.5" collector and yes mod my new exhaust system again after 4 miles use.
Im hoping that all this will net me some decent numbers....pending me grabbing all 4 gears
