So, as some will know, the motor is back out as it didnt do much but smoke when i got it back out on the road. I knew there were issues with one of the cylinders and it was getting a little worn all over. We're doing it properly thought, bored and stroked to be bigger and faster. The motor is away at the moment getting all the new rotating assembly fitted. Reading up on the factory fuel system, we dont think it's really up to the job of what power figures we are expecting, so I've been on to summit and ordered new pump, lines and fuel rails. it will all need adapting slightly as i cant quite seem to find exactally what i wanted anywhere. Somehow going to have to make the original fuel pump housing take a braided line, as they seem to assume that everyone racing a mustang will fit a fuel cell. Not really sure i want to go down that route yet. but anyway, i went down to the garage this morning are started stripping out. One tank one pump and housing Its these that i am going to have to look into adapting, im wondering if its possible to weld a AN male fitting on the end that then i can connect braided to. and look Truman!!! i manages to get this far with out loosing a single socket The bits should arrive this week hopefully, so at least now im ready for them, i dont want the fuel system to hold up getting the motor back in when it comes home.

One tank Are my eyes playing tricks with me? But is that a pen and paper in the shot? Your never making a to do list are you? ? Am sure you could weld to those pipes, or even use a compression joint to give you a threaded output.....

Kind of. The thing is about fox mustangs is that because they're so popular and there is at least 3 magazine dedicated to them, there is a tech feature on just about anything you could want to do to one. I found one for dropping the tank and made a few notes the web page wasnt printer friendly Iv been scouring the web and actually might have found a fitting to do just what i need, i just need to make sure what size the pipes are... And place another summit order
