Well done Charlie,,, im sure you will get it all sorted and taking your time a little is def a good idea. As for the motor it realy is easy. Just as im sure you know make sure you turn it over each time you torque up a set of bearings and make sure you do the same each time you fit one of them buckets in the each cylinder as its a pain in the arse if you get it all in an then you find the bloody thing tight . You must get a pic of the motor somehow once you get it toghether.

MMM how do I put this without it sounding sarcastic? ? Been over to Leeds today and tried to give Charlie a hand. For some reason my piston ring compressor kept drifting into the bore and wedging against the piston/rings ... Finally we got around this but somebody pulled out all the pistons/rods and didnt mark any of them this made it a little puzzling seeing as the rods are shaped to go together as pairs. After some investigation we realised which way round they should go. But then it was time to go to the cruise... O well there's always tomorrow Charlie... Cheers Marcus

Bugger well its easy to make such mistakes , on the Ford its chamfered to one side of each rod so as to go against the crank radius and there is a little pip on the rod that faces to the front I guess the Chevy must have sumuts similar??. Never mind mate you will get it done and will also be wiser at the end of it.
