I have several more sheets of chip board which are waterproof the same size you can have if needed just stood in my garage

Incidentally, The stuff I got is 38mm thick, it's the depth of a worktop, really heavy gauge designed for mezzanines. It's bloody heavy too!

Yes the stuff I have 38mm stuff it weighs a bloody ton I struggle to pick up one board.

So next stage was to work out the dimensions and cut everything to length. A new chop saw was a very welcome tool, it made the cutting process a walk in the park. Attachments:

This is how it looks tonight, nearly there. Next stage, one more support leg to weld in, then paint it and fit the flooring. After that, stairs and a handrail. Attachments:

Looking good Simon. Have you put flat plates on the bottom of the legs? Also have you left it free standing or attached it to the unit?

Hi Marcus, Plates on the bottom to bolt it down. It's bolted to the two RSJ uprights with a single extra leg in the middle.
