NO PICS I'M AFRAID, BUT I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME WORK ON THE POP, HAD TO RE DO A COUPLE OF BRAKE PIPES BUT THEN STRIPPED THE THREADS IN A SLAVE CYLINDER, GOT A NEW ONE NOW FITTED. BLEED THE BRAKES AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR SO I ADJUSTED THE MASTER CYLINDER ROD ON THE PEDAL, ALL WAS OK BUT THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS HIGHER THAN THE OTHERS SO I MADE A STOP BRACKET TO EVEN THEM UP BUT NOW THE BRAKES BIND SO A BIT MORE INVESTIGATION NEEDED. ALL THE SUSPENSION IS NOW SET UP AS WELL AS THE TRACKING. ENGINE SET UP BUT STILL HAS A LITTLE FLAT SPOT, SO I'M ON THE LOOK OUT FOR A 3.0 V6 CARB. IT'S ALSO BEEN VALETED READY FOR THE PAINTWORK TO BE BUFFED AND POLISHED

I have a downdraught Weber carb, 32/36 DGAV, just been vapour blasted too, its a real Italian one, is it any good to you?

THANKS FOR THE OFFER MATE, BUT IT'S STILL A PROGRESSIVE CARB, WHERE ONE FLAP OPENS BEFORE THE 2ND ONE. I NEED ONE WHERE BOTH CHOKES OPEN AT THE SAME TIME, THE 3.0 ESSEX CARB HAD A COGGED TYPE MECHANISUM THAT OPENED THE BUTTERFLYS AT THE SAME TIME. DONE A BIT MORE, BUT IT'S STILL NOT QUITE FINISHED CAN'T GET THE CARPETS DONE TILL THE NEW YEAR AND I'VE A FEW OTHER JOBS TO DO BUT I DID GET ONE OF THESE TODAY FOR IT.

BEEN FOR A SPIN TODAY GOT A FEW ISSUES, CRANKCASE BREATHER CHUCKING OUT OIL, GOT A NEW ONE ON ORDER NOW. CLUTCH SLIPPING, DON'T KNOW WHATS GOING ON THERE, X FLOW TO TYPE 9 BOX, CLUTCH KIT TO SUIT AND IT SLIPS SO GONNA TAKE THE BOX OUT AND SEE WHATSN BEEN HAPPENING.

had the gearbox out and found the problem, i was supplied and the used the wrong thrust bearing, all back together now and works fine
