Thought I would start a thread (one i thought about on holiday) of stuff we see 'Oout and About'
We are all petrolheads and visit may shows with rods and customs which is great but there is always something out there that sparks an interest thats not on a show field! or at a cruise.
It may be just around the corner or something you have seen on hols.
Cheers Bomber

Many of you know I have a little house in rural Brittany France, as usual I got up one morning to get the daily bread from the local village bakery, did that and because it was quiet and beautiful weather I took a little detour through to the next village (one I have been through hundred of times before) back down the country lane back home. Well I turned down the wrong street and came across the village garage ‘Top Garage’ and my eyes popped at these!!! 1968/9 AMC Javelin GP (Go Pack) .Think they had a 343ci motor it was mint found out it had broken down due transmission problems An early Citroen Lite 15 and Chevy Town Car Two Citroen DS Here is a picture of the Workshop, Buick Riviera 71ish Boat tail and another Lite 15 on the ramp next to the white van being rodded with a big block Chevy motor tubed chassis etc. All in a little village in France amazing!!!! Ill be back next year with Anne the guy was great but I did not understand a bloody word he said. Think hes got a scrap yard at the back Cheers Bomber

They are in a village just outside Stratford upon Avon. The guy collects them <as you can see> He seems to have more every time I go past. They never seem to move.

Went out and about today at work (Yes Mr Truman I did say work ) visiting one the arses on one of the most crappy estates in Bassetlaw and saw this. The house often has a yank parked in the back yard, there was a 72 Lincoln Cont last time I was up there. However this a Pontiac Star Chief 56ish was there looking really nice, didnt get to close up has there cameras on the back of the house, dont know why Uploaded with ImageShack.us
