I Headed down to the Retro Rides Gathering at Prescott Hill Climb (Cheltenham area) this weekend with Ryan, Nick and a couple of the others from the NSCC as it was a new points round for this year. I must say, i was pretty nervous about the whole cornering thing, but it was one of the best days out in the mustang ever! The Retro Rides scene is a little different to ours although there was a couple of rods and yanks there most of it was quite unusual to me, the old British ford scene crosses across all scenes, but some of the other stuff there, i couldn't begin to tell you what it was. LOADS of photos as it was different, and there was loads i didnt photography (forgot my camera so we're on iphone quality) the show field was rammed! there must have been 200 cars easy, better turn outs than many of the rod runs! I'll start off with a couple of videos - James Murray filming from my mustang - James Murray Filming, Nick Gunby driving (IN A BORROWED MUSTANG) My Compilation of the demo cars + others Photos - Rally spec Skyline (one of only three outside of japan... apparently) Wide-body moggy! 1929 Bentley - 24Litre W12 Napier engine (as seen in video) Strange to have three banks of exhausts! Pro-Mod Escort Want it Want it Want it.... i dont know why, but i love it! you can take anything up the hill! One of the Marshall's cars Some pics that other took of me on the hill

Absolutely Claire! Carol's brother, Andy, lives close by, so I think we'll ask him if there's a good campsite near there, and perhaps we should make a long weekend of it, see what else is in the area? Mark was saying that if you enter as a club with a display of cars you can get in earlier, which apparently is a must as track spaces are limited.
