So now we've got the tin shed up and running I can take some of my bikes to shows too. Let's start with this one... 1983 Raleigh Mag Burner. Original paint, it's a lovely old bike. Just took it in part exchange from our Matthew for lending him some money to buy a new stunt scooter ( the kids got pretty good negotiating skills for a 14 year old, but he'd have been way better off keeping this....) I can post more bikes on here if anyone is interested in looking at some of my motley collection, soon to be seen on a show field near you ( weather permitting) Anybody else on here into old bikes? I've got penny farthings to lowriders to pro race bikes, I love daft bikes. Sold so many on now but I've still got plenty left. My ramp jumping claim to fame as a kid was jumping my old Mk1 chopper into a ravine which I thought was just a ditch. I still have the scars...

Christmas morning 1971 aged 14 the dream present , which I had one now, mind you I would probably buckle the frame Have 1950's I think its a Police cycle in the shed with seems to be a stainless frame and wheels, weighs a ton, full mud guards and battery box built into the frame for the lights. And of course always wanted one of these, great showground transport www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/vehicles-sale/honda-monkey-bike-1971-a-62296Bomber

Nice Chopper, bomber (didn't think I'd ever be typing that!) I had a fair collection of monkey bikes before we rebuilt the house (everything not nailed down got sold 5 yrs ago when we ran out of money at the end) I've still got a few but all the really special stuff went. Bikes are easier as you don't have to SORN them! I no longer have a chopper but I've got some schwinn stingrays which is what the chopper was copied from, they are very cute! I'll post a couple more pics later.

Here is another one: My 50 inch ordinary bicycle ( there's nothing ordinary about riding it I can tell you) That's Matthew my 15 year old riding it on Monday. The front wheel is almost 15 feet in circumference so you get a fair amount of travel per revolution. Tyres are bloody expensive too.... Attachments:
