I will probs sell back wheels when i have the funds to buy back wheels as im about dry and still got loads of stuff to do to get it out. Im at the point where i just want it out then ill try to get it on the road when im mobile in it. Im not sure if im going to the cruise or not as it depends on if i can do my car ill be cracking on with that, Or im working on plan B so might be doing that all been well..

OK its time for an update, just to keep Adam in the picture"sorry for the pun ;D" So first job was to assess the front suspension that was already attached to the car and the best way of achieving the end result Adam is after... After we carried out some measurements it soon became apparent that the cross member had been installed 20mm off center to the N/S of the car So using it for reference is out of the question really.... Also the brackets that have been made and welded on to the chassis legs for the compression arms are a bit poor so they will be coming off too... After a bit of spanner work the old suspension was off the car and lying on the ramp.. Am not sure if you can tell from this shot, but the cross member is angled way too steeply and in the wrong direction.... This will be chopped off to leave a clean canvass to start again with.... I tried to get some rectangular box section to make a new cross member out of, but couldn't get the size I wanted. So I'll be welding two pieces together and then shaping it into a new cross member...Here is the steel I bought and hopefully all will become clear as the work progresses.... Cheers Marcus

Cheers for the pics Marcus. Atleast its heading in the right direction. Have you thought of a strong way to mount the struts without it folding when nearly 800lbs of engine comes down from a wheelie ;D Lol. Could maybe swap the interior with the red shiney one next to my pop. ;D Cheers Adam.
