So more daylight has finaly taken my last excuse away so its back to converting the bus. last year we had a dry run with the cuboards and stuff loose fit to see if it worked so its all back out for a sort and refit. anyway... before. striped all the seats out and put ply down to smooth out the floor. then removed the trims and fitted sound deadning. and insulation on top. this is my cheap version of dynomat. lots of waxoil replaced the 70's speakers then put the trims back its quiet at work so i took in some stuff to paint. i havent got any photos of me making the units though.

Looking good Jon. You know I love this van, it's going to be super cool with the interior done. I've been madly busy on our caravan getting it ready for summer. The clock going forward really motivated me, you too by the look of it!

Its nice to do a project and not have hot rust fired in your face via grinder.

photo's of fitted stuff. There was too much blue so i sprayed on some white, a chrome trim will cover the join.

That looks really slick. If the job goes tits up you can always set yourself up doing bespoke interiors!
