Are you keeping the chassis and cage and just getting a few bars put into place to make it tag to 8.5 ?? Any pics of how your struts are mounted Plz

Thats the plan, see how I like it,then maybe sell the tagged 8.50 chassis if I want to move up a stage, it will always have a value if tagged. I will post pics as soon as I get them, we can always take a ride over sometime if you want to take a look. Cheers Ken

Hi Adam, I think I will be going all the way with what iv'e got, but hey who knows what might happen, we have a chopped one and a normal one,I could get a chassis made for the chopped one! But im tall like you, im sure we will do some stuff in the future ;D I will send you pics of the front end as soon as I get some, keep in touch if you are going to any race meetings, Chreers Ken

Cheers for that Ken !! Im hoping to go to york at the end of the month and im selling my van to free some money up so i can get my car sorted and going to try to get it ready for HRD`s. Only time will tell if i manage to get anywhere near. Dont hold your breath though

Well, I have accepted that ill be doing nothing till next year! mine is now into its fourth year! My other project, the Galaxie wagon which I will be using as a tow/sleep car is coming on, hopefully have some pics by end of week. Cheers Ken

Ken sent me these pictures to post. There appaers to have been some great progress made by Brian on the front end of 'Born to Run' Here there has been a new pair of front chassis legs and front crossmember with the flip front hinges built in. The old Viva set up done away with and a fully adjustable strut set up fitted to deal with the BBC motor. Steering column in position Flip front fitted, note this has been made with blue gel coat with the same colour code as the final paint finish Nice work there Kenny, Brian is looking after you. One of many project posts I hope as the winter months approach, come on lets see some more. Cheers Bomber (Kenny)
