Cheers Jono to tell you the truth ,Im kin amazed myself ,My compressors crap and takes ages to build up and takes 30secs to empty...
I have to heat the place up with my space heater, mix my paint and get the build up of air, then turn off the heat ,get a good coverage of paint and but also cover again the bits I have already sprayed,So every things getting a good coat of colour....
I have moved things around today to finish the other side,But the weather seems to be comming in colder ...I think my luck may run out but what the hell...
Im useing fast dry thinners and my nice gravity fed gun and not putting it on real thick...
I still have 4 ltrs of colour left,So I was thinking on flatting it off using 600 WaW then going round it again...Then 1200 WaW then polish...
I have managed to achive a real nice gloss ,when I tack raged the over spray off....

Do you progressively use a thinner mix on each application, I seem to remember and its along time since I painted a car but I used to end with almot a 90% thinner to paint mix for the final coat, but do have to be real careful to avoid runs. ts a shame about the change in the weather . Looking real good mate

Well todays exercise was to flat off all the crap bits and then repair then go over the whole lot with scotch cloth.. warm the garage up then mix up some paint 70/30 ,give each panel 2 coats... Leave for an hour or so then demask.. Now its just a case of leave it for a week to harden off a bit more then clean her up ,then put her back together....
