Hi All
Firstly i would like to say I have been humbled by all the kind messages wishing me well, a big thank you to each and everyone. Well a major heart attack is not recommended I can tell you, I have never felt pain like it......but thanks to Bassetlaw Hospital and the staff there I'm still here. After 5 days of more drugs than I have ever had in my life, needles inserted in stomach arms and legs and being wired to various machines I was then stalbe enough to go to Sheffield Northern General (which I have learnt is one of the best coronary hospitals in the world thank god)for micro surgery on my heart. Amazingly the 1 1/2 hour operation all through a 0.5mm hole in my waist, went very well and now I'm just recovering I'm very tired and its going to take time to get back to full fitness but I can already tell there is a big difference in my breathing. Can't drive for a month, got to now lose weight have less stress and I should be around for a bit longer. 12 days, what a trip!!!! which thankfully was a two way one thanks to the brilliant NHS staff at Worksop and Sheffield and all my mates who kept me going with their kind wishes.....
