Simon, have you sold it? Saw a BB on the back of a trailer this morning on the A63 near Cliffe. Can't be to many people around there with this, er, taste in cars....

Hi mike, it would have been a crazy coincidence if it wasn't mine! Yes, Olivier the buyer picked it up this morning, its on the way to France on the back of a trailer which is exactly the same length as the wheelbase of the bug. That took some working, I can tell you. It's a good Job it was light enough to push!

I left it on the drive with the keys in for two weeks, I'd even have helped the joyriders bump it off if they'd have asked... but no takers (literally) Got the money, though, and it made a frenchman very happy (everything has a downside) even after he paid £600 for the ferry tickets to come and collect it!
