Well, just got back from Hot Rods And Hills. What can I say...................... it was bloody fantasic, and we didn't see a drop of rain all week. A few of us made a week of it, and we now look like we could have been on a Med holiday. I would just like to say thank you to all who made it there, and for participating in our Hawiian night. To the lovely ladies of the Gearjammers for helping with the food (and Simon and Jon on the BBQ). Also, a massive thanks to Craig for hosting yet another brilliant event. Also, a big thank you to Marcus for the use of the trailer on Wednesday!!!!!! lol
Already looking forward to next year! Pics and full report to follow soon!
Thanks Carol

It was a fantastic weekend. We wish we could have made a week of it too, maybe one year! Thanks everybody for making it so special, what a great bunch of like minded friends Great Hawaiian party, complete with beautiful tattooed lady(boy) and the animal hat triplets. Massive thanks to Craig for the best and most laid back car event of the year, and for organising perfect weather this year!

Last pic is a sign on a shop window spotted in Harrogate on the way home. Made us laugh out loud...

Echoing everyone elses thoughts - what a truly fabulous weekend, just a shame we could only make it for one night this year & in the daily too. Many, many thanks to Jon & Simon for the truly wonderful barbeque and to Carol, Claire & Julie for doing all the shopping & making a wonderful buffet, really sorry that we couldn't be there earlier to help out more. This has to be the best Hotrod & Hills yet - what truly fabulous weather!! Here's just a few to be going on with ..... Thunderbolt at the wheel with a lovely view The GJ crew chilling on the Glebe at Bowness on Windermere Flash & Speedemon following The GJ boys all ready for the Hawaiian night One was a little too enthusiastic this year Some of us took the opportunity to soak up some rays - GOTCHA Though others needed to find a small oasis to cool off Photobucket only letting me upload one at a time at the moment so going to upload the rest to my FB & see if I can get them on that way any easier

Before I start I'd also like to thank Craig for his efforts, We had a fab weekend and really enjoyed the blast with him during the cruise.....Credit to ya Craig, this show is still going strong, unlike others and seems to be going from strength to strength.... So our Hot Rods and Hills started the Saturday before, we where going for a week and this meant an awful lot of stuff needed taking. This meant I had to trailer the car, but ultimatly this meant others would benefit from the trailer.... So this is us ready to go and meet up with Johno,Carol and Mark.... The first part of our week was in Siloth, a very strange town, but a fantastic site.... The weather forecast for the week was excellent.... On the Sunday we crossed the border and visited Archie at his Old Mcdonalds Farm.....He had numerous sheds with cars in, these are just a couple of his future projects. But not until his wifes Moggy is finished.... Mark couldn't resist the offer of a drive in his skid steer.... Tuesday we found a nice country pub and stopped for a beer or three..... This was a view of the camp site at about ten thirty... And again at about eleven fifteen, It didnt seem to get properly dark.... So Wednesday morning came and we where all packed to go and Johno's starter decided to play up. So it was off with the Plymouth and on with the fairlane to Ulswater.... Craig was there to welcome us and got stuck in with Johno to get the starter off.... A chap Craig new of had the starter appart and cleaned out in no time.... We got our camp set up in no time.... Saturday saw a great turn out for the cruise and I think Craig counted 101 cars parked up in Windermere.... I'll finish off me update tomorrow.. Cheers Marcus
