this is how i left you hinges made and door hung started to build the a post out of beach waned to use ash but that was to exspensive i was told a bennits wood yard that beach was a little bit softer but would do just the same if varnished completed all the frame.made an in fill from the boot floor that was left in it had some strenght rolled into it these match the swage line on the body so cut it out put a few returns on it and welded it in strenthend the bulkhead to coverd the bulkhead with toughen and grove will take a pick just forgot about that more tomorow

fitted door handle from an old door to popdrop took the old locking bolt from the same door it was seized solid so left in oil for a week before it would move filled the side window in with wood and going to varnish it cut the side 6mm deep so that it sat in the window will put a seal round it when i pull it apart to spray it filled in the front panel with ali between the b post and the bulkhead going to reverse the bolts on the door so no one can break into it bye taking the nuts off the door and the top half with ply with the same pattern as the window coverd the bulkhead this is the pic like an idiot i didn,t start in the middle so look,s lope sided but i am not taking it off but when i get the gas bottle on and an ali a frame cover you wont notice made a piece to go over the door to stop the rain dripping down the inside of the door had this left from a pop that i had cut up tacked in place to see . i think it looks good so it,s staying got to finish off the rain gutter and will tackle the wheel arch next this is how it looks so far

i set to . to replace the wheel arch with the pieces of wheel arch that i had left over from the pop that i bought about a year ago and cut up as had gone to far to be any use as a project .tacked in place , and thought ok that will do . one it looks quite good and too it lowers the wheel arch further down so that i it comes closer to the wheel cut the infill section out of the pop boot floor as i like to use metal that been used for something else and that i see a bend or a return in it . the boot floor has some of them .i cut the piece out and offered it up to trim it to shape stitched it in to reduse the distortion and then fully welded in a1 3 6 9 12 20mm welds and then 2 4 6 8 10 to fill it all in another view as i got round near the boot the curve was a little bit diffrent so had to put a vertical cut in the arch to make it come round . all cars that use press panels have this as the patterns wear mm each pressings am going to clean the welds up with a flaper wheel

had this in my garden was going to make a rubbish burner out of it . i looked at it this morning and thought i know were my wings are now set about cutting it up cut a foot of the top cut the top from that and split it down the middle offerd it up and cut and bent to make it fit put one bolt in the front and clamped the other end trimmed to length clamped the inner wing i cut and reversed so that they form the outside of the arch am going to make these detachable as if i get a puncture i can take the wheel off no problem that it got to do a little fettling to get it just right
