Are we building a whole new frame or is it a matter of making the original one being altered to accommodate the new motor and steering? I did ask is the design of the body based on the Buick just interested.

Hi bomber, I don't think it's based on anything specific, it's more a general fifties style look. It's way stylish, though! The chassis is a bit roughly made, and HEAVY! We can make it out of lighter gauge steel and it will be just as strong and half the weight, plus the way the engine and axle need to fit in, a new chassis would be much easier to work with.
It's a dashboard which has me thinking. I want to fit a suitable fifties style dash that I can cut down and fit. That way I can hide the short-ish bonnet and give a bit more leg room.
Any realistic ideas welcome!

Hey William. This project is looking real good buddy!
Keep the updates coming but remember, don't let your Dad do too much of it as he's likely to make a mess of things . He really should stick to flogging old Box Brownie cameras and funny looking American pick-up trucks shouldn't he?
Looking forward to the next report!!!
